Shelled Pecan Nuts | An Autumn Classic
Pecan nuts: buttery flavour from American cooking
Liovela Shelled Pecan Nuts – 100% natural, delicate buttery taste, crunchy texture.
The ingredient list says shelled pecan nuts and nothing else. They are carefully selected and gently shelled to bring out their delicate buttery taste and crunchy texture. In American cooking pecans are a classic of cakes and desserts, from pies to pralines. Here they are still a little-known extra, yet they suit what you already cook: porridge, salads, meat.
Three American Classics
What pecans are famous for
The cake of the South
Shortcrust filled with an egg and caramel mixture and rows of pecans. Served warm with vanilla ice cream.
A sweet from New Orleans
Nuts set in caramel with butter and cream. Simple, intense and very sweet.
Chocolate with crunch
Crumbled pecans in brownies add a buttery note and contrast with the dense, moist texture.
Quick Pecan Pie
A home version in a few steps
Whisk 3 eggs with 150 g brown sugar, 120 ml maple syrup, 60 g melted butter, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Stir in 200 g pecans.
Pour onto a blind-baked shortcrust base (tin about 24 cm) and bake around 50 minutes at 175°C, until the edges are set and the centre only just wobbles. Cool before slicing.

Premium Packaging
Buttery flavour needs protection
Pecans contain 72 g of fat per 100 g, which easily reacts with oxygen and loses its fresh aroma. That's why we pack them in a doypack (stand-up pouch) with a high oxygen and moisture barrier and a resealable ZIP.
Close the ZIP after every portion and the nuts stay fresh for longer.

9. Can there be shell fragments in the pack?
